The Castle at Limassol
In the ruins of Byzantine Castle, Castle of Limassol was built for religious crusaders.
Going to the roof top of this castle you would get a good view of the port and and over view of the city. The two towers of minarets that you would see overlooking the city would be a reminder or significance of a Turkish population that once live in Limassol.
Sanctuary of Apollo, Kourion
A reminder or Roman’s presence in the island. This house of gladiators with dried up wells had been named over armed warriors in action.
Zeno’s Early Basilica, Kourion
A beautiful ruins of a place overlooking the sea. Incriptions can still be found in this place’s early-Christian basilica and its remains.
Lazarus’ Tomb, Larnaka
It has been said that the famous risen from the dead by Christ, Lazarus would be found buried in Agios Lazaros Church.
Roman Villas, Pafos
This Roman Villa of wonder mosaic floors had captured the tourist’s interests by heart. Houses of Dionysos, Aion, Theseus and Orpheus would be the most famous spots.
Chrysoplitissa, Pafos
He early Christian Eras most spectacular and impressive building. This had been contstructed at the end of the 4rth century and up to now is still undergoing intensive reconstructions to relive its very essence welcome for the world to see.
Lagoudera
Byzantine churches finest that lie in the area of Cyprus. This includes the church Panagia tou Araka holding the masterpiece of Byzantine art. It contains frescoes from 1192.
Nicosia/Lefkosia
Composed of 18 mosques and 13 churches, it is memorial to Cyprian life in the olden days of its invasion.
