Limassol Wine Festival Entrence fee

Limassol Wine Festival happens yearly from August to September.
Wine Festival opening time 8pm
The festival is a celebration of the yearly wine harvest.
The Limassol or Lenensos Wine festival is hosted in the Municipal Gardens of Limassol City, Cyrpus..
There is a small cover charge, I think around 3-5 euro but you do get a free bottle to fill up with all the village wine you can drink, of course you could end up the village idiot if you drink too much!
Cyprus has a long tradition of wine making, it is estimated Cyprus began making wine around 6000 years ago.
The festivital is started with the traditional pressing of the grapes, this is done the old fashioned way with Cypriots standing in a large wooden container, standing on grapes, with no shoes on. The dance to Greek music while they press the grapes.
There is some good cheap tasty dishes in the festival too, also I recommend to try some of the local sweet delicacies.
There is a festival listing as well with Music, Acts, Comedy and lots of traditional features such as dancing.
Also the mine wineries offer wine tasting, the last time I was here was 2 years ago and I was able to try the most different types of wine in my life, and all for free! (of course there is entrence fee to the festival so technically not free)
I went to the Limassol Wine festival 2 nights in a row, I enjoyed it so much.
